to access the rar files, you will have to download a software called winrar from www.win-rar.com Itis a file compression software like winzip but much better than winzip...

hello there is a problem occuring when i enter the password for barrons gre file
After downloading a few files, I get the message "The bandwidth limit for this site has been exceeded." And i guess this is the reason why many people are unable to get the complete files as well, because after the bandwidth has exceeded, the files aren't downloaded, so the "broken rar file" error occurs. Please put these files up on a site where bandwidth limitations don't occur. Thanks.

@kedarnath: you can post ur email id here and I will email you the stuff, but try downloading the material using a download optimizer like DAp and hopefully u wont have a problem.
@Aashish: Buy at least Barron - its the best out there for the verbal section (even though it includes all sections of the GRE). For maths section I would recommend Nova or Kaplan Math workbook. If you can afford then buy Barron's and Nova/Kaplan maths workbook. Otherwise just buy Barron's and Nova you can download from this blog (pdf format)

However if you need to practice more, I advice you to buy the kaplan maths workbook. Unfortunately, this workbook is not available on the net anywhere or i would have sent it to you.

@srinivas: a good way to remember words and their meaning is by using flashcards. Try learning words by writing 5 words on one piece of paper and their meanings on its opposite side. Your flash card is made. Try making various flashcards with words of similar meaning on flash card. For example, resplendent and pulchritudinous have a simiklar meaning - beautiful!

Always use GRE feedbacks of last 3-4 weeks from students who have taken a exam.It is always seen that GRE questions r repeating in same calender month...(thats why they don't allow to take GRE twice in a same calender month)...always take GRE date between 22th -30th of a date calender month , and if possible take a date from Thursday-Friday-Saturday......b'coz it is always seen that questions are repeating in a same week or same calender month.........so u could get maximum benefits of feedbacks
